Mekong River Tour: Siem Reap to/from Phnom Penh

Experience the Mekong River Tours and Silk Islands by bicycle as you travel between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in this day trip connection. We will depart Phnom Penh by ferry and cycle up the quiet dirt roads of the East Bank of the Mekong before crossing by ferry again to the Silk Islands.  On the islands, we will be able to experience typical Cambodian village life as we pass through farms, orchards and villages as we cycle across two islands. We will also visit a silk weaving village and an island pagoda before reaching a sandy island beach. There we will enjoy a picnic lunch and swimming before continuing by car to Siem Reap.

Note: Coming from Siem Reap will begin by car and end by cycle.

8:00 am: pickup at hotel and transfer to ferry

8:15 am: cross the Mekong River Cruises

8:30 am to 12:00 am: cycling a dirt route through villages and mango orchards and across two islands with numerous excursions and breaks

12:00 pm to 1:15 pm: lunch and swimming at the beach 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm: cycling and ferry crossing 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm: car transfer to Siem Reap with rest stop and “tarantula village”

8:00 am to 12:00 am: pickup at hotel by private car and transfer to Mekong River with rest stop en route at “tarantula village”

12:00 am to 12:45 pm: cross by ferry and cycling on island

12:45 pm to 2:00 pm: lunch and swimming at island beach

2:00 pm to 5:30 pm: cycling a dirt route through villages and mango orchards and across two islands with numerous excursions and breaks

5:30 pm to 6:00 pm: cross the Mekong River Tours by ferry into Phnom Penh and transfer to hotel
